Huskers improve to 9-0 with close win over Gophers

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KLKN) – Nebraska women’s basketball team remains undefeated after beating Minnesota 70-67 in their first conference road match. The Huskers are now 9-0 on the year and off to their best start since their 2009-10.
Jazz Shelley and Bella Cravens led the way with 15 points each while Sam Haiby scored 13.
Haiby, the Minnesota native, came in clutch during the fourth quarter scoring 10 of her 13 points in the final quarter and gave the Huskers a three-point lead in the final seconds.
Nebraska now has a three-game home stretch starting Saturday against Indiana State. Tipoff is set for 1:00 p.m. on BTN+.
