LPD: Man arrested after punching hole in door at Lincoln bar

According to LPD, an employee told James Edward Nolin to leave the bar, he came back to punch a hole in the front door of the business.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln police arrested a man after he punched a hole in a Lincoln bar’s front door and refused to leave the business.

Lincoln police received a call to Harry’s Wonder Bar at 1621 O St. around 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to LPD, an employee told 58-year-old James Edward Nolin to leave the bar, he came back to punch a hole in the front door of the business.

After punching a hole in the door, Nolin laid on the floor of the bar and wouldn’t leave. Nolin told employees he had something in his backpack.

Officers arrived, took Nolin into custody and searched his backpack and found a filet knife in his backpack. LPD says Nolin was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and to detox.

LPD arrested Nolin for terroristic threats.
