NSP arrested man wanted in connection to officer-involved shooting

Authorities have arrested a man wanted in connection to an officer-involved shooting in California earlier this month.
The Nebraska State Patrol took Robert Hanson, who had an outstanding warrant from Fairfield, California, into custody Monday evening. Troopers stopped a vehicle Hanson was riding in just before he reached the Iowa border, the patrol said.
Troopers reportedly found meth, a knife and a sword in the vehicle.
Hanson was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a prohibited weapon, and a warrant from Fairfield, California. He was lodged in Otoe County Jail.
The driver of the vehicle was found not to be involved and was released.
