Mild Christmas Eve forecast 12/24/2021
Christmas Eve is off to a foggy start this morning with visibility values near 0 miles in some spots. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for some of the area until 11 AM today, so use extra caution for your commute or if you are traveling. Temperatures will easily warm into the upper 50s and 60s again today, but clouds are likely by the afternoon and evening. I expect most of the area to reach the 60s and this will likely shatter some high temperature records for Christmas Eve. Mostly cloudy skies will stick around into overnight tonight, and we could even see some light precipitation. Santa might run into a bit of light rain, but we will dry out just in time for sunrise when most of you are waking up on Christmas Day. Highs tomorrow will be a bit cooler in the 50s and we will have partly cloudy skies. Cooler temperatures will arrive just in time for the end of the year next week.
