NCDHD reports over 100 COVID-19 cases after Christmas

Only 93 residents within the health district have died due to COVID-19.

O’NEILL, Neb. (KLKN) – The North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) reported 101 new cases of COVID-19 within the district on Monday, since their last report on Dec. 20.

This brings the health district’s total number of confirmed cases to 7,331, but the health department reports that 6,438 people have recovered from COVID-19.

The health district reports that only 93 residents have died due to COVID-19, and their DHM risk dial remains in the green, with only 798 active cases in total.

NCDHD is sponsoring several COVID-19 vaccination clinics for walk-ins over the next two weeks:

  • Ainsworth Community Center – Dec. 28, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Bloomfield Community Center – Dec. 29, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • NCDHD Office – Dec. 30, 9 a.m. – noon
  • Valentine Mid-Plains College – Jan. 4, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Butte Community Center – Jan. 5, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Neligh-Antelope Co. Fairgrounds – Jan. 6, 1 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • NCDHD Office – Jan. 6, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
