A Beatrice family is finding ways to have fun during coronavirus quarantines providing yard dance parties for their neighborhood.
A couple used their computer and home projector to play kid-friendly songs so their two children could dance in the backyard.
The fun caught on and to keep social distancing, they invited neighbors to drive by and stop for a while, as their children dance in the backseats.

“It’s good to get people out of the house and you know able to see something because right now we can’t even go to a local movie, everything’s shut down,” says Nick Jurgens, a father of two. “So, at least this way it kind of gives them a feel for a movie theater but they don’t have to get out around people.”

Nick says he will try to continue the yard dance parties every day of the social distancing because he sees the joy it brings to his community. It’s just another way Nebraskans are fighting back together.
