After losing a valuable tool of sentimental value, a mother and son were given a great experience.

“We went to Walnut Creek fishing and he had this tacklebox that he gotten from his grandpa and his grandpa got this for him for Christmas, but unfortunately grandpa passed away right before Christmas,” says Sandra Borchers, mom of Jaxson who lost the tackle box. “It was a special box for us and we lost it.”

Borchers reached out to some FaceBook fishing communities hoping to find the tackle box and was surprised to receive over one hundred messages offering to replace or buy her son a new tackle box.
She says she picked one and they met up with Mark Celesky who let Jaxson pick a box and fill it fully from his shop.

We just had a blast of a day it was just wonderful sharing that experience with him,” said Mark Celesky, owner of Lakeside in Louisville. “It just fit and if someone can help someone else with the hand up or just help in any way especially during this time but really I’d like to say anytime.”

The mother sends thanks to those who reached out as it has inspired her son to fish every day.
