A water main breakage leads to a week long road closure

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Due to a water main break on private property, N. 70th Street between Fletcher Avenue and McCormick Drive is temporarily closed down.

The repairs are anticipated to be done by Friday, Oct. 2, but access to local businesses in the area will be maintained. Digital signs will alert drivers to the upcoming work and closures.

In the meantime, drivers are encouraged to use Fletcher Avenue to North 63rd Street to McCormick Drive.
