A WINDY, chilly & partly sunny day across Nebraska! Temperatures will drop hour by hour with strong NW winds sustained 20-25+ mph. Gusts up 40-50 mph farther east.

Sustained winds will stay between 15-25 mph through this evening. Winds will continue through Saturday. Sunday, winds will only be 5-10 mph!

Wind gusts will continue to stay strong through the evening hours. Gusts between 35-50 mph.

FREEZE WATCHES are in place starting this evening. Temperatures will drop below freezing for much of the state  Saturday morning. Sunday morning will also have near or below freezing temperatures.
