Adam Krueger

Adam Krueger was raised in Muscatine, Iowa and even though he is from the Hawkeye state, some of his childhood memories include the same memories as those from the Cornhusker state, like; Byron Bennet wide left, Tommy Frazier wearing down Warren Sapp and Matt Davison's diving catch at Missouri.  So it was no surprise to anyone that he went to the University of Nebraska, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Before coming to Channel 8 Eyewitness News Sports, Adam worked for 6News in Lawrence, Kansas as a reporter and weekend sports anchor.  Covering sports for television is a great opportunity to tell fun and dramatic stories Adam says of his profession as a sports reporter.  “Covering Husker sports is the coolest job in the world.” Adam says and adds, “I am honored to cover Lincoln area sports for a living”. 

He says he quite shy, but when you get him going on the Huskers it's tough to get him to stop talking.  In his spare time he enjoys playing cards, tennis and basketball.
