Nebraska Department of Transportation details work on Highway 6 in Waverly
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska Department of Transportation on Wednesday announced a highway project in Waverly.
On June 22, work will start on Highway 6 at N. 141st Street in Waverly.
Work includes electrical conduit installation, installation of a vehicle detector and an advanced warning for the traffic signal.
Officials said work will be within the shoulder of westbound US-6 and 141st Street, and traffic will be maintained with shoulder closures.
According to NDOT, the project is expected to be completed by August 2026.
