Iron Chef Alton Brown tries chili and cinnamon rolls after performance at Lied
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Alton Brown, host of the Food Network and Netflix hit show “Iron Chef” performed at the Lied Center on Thursday night.
He also stopped by Runza to taste the highly divisive chili and cinnamon rolls.
Brown had never heard of the combination before and figured this would be the best place to try it.
It doesn’t seem like he loved the combo, but that could be due to his technique.
Brown put chili directly on the cinnamon roll instead of dipping or enjoying them separately.
After several people pointed that out on social media, Brown bemoaned that he wasn’t told the proper way to enjoy the Nebraskan meal.
Dear #Nebraska, you might have mentioned the part about eating the chili and the cinnamon roll SEPARATELY!
