Flying home for Thanksgiving? American Airlines is boosting its flight schedule by 15% for the Thanksgiving holiday rush.

Despite coronavirus concerns, the airline is still expecting to see a noticeable increase in travel.

According to a company spokesperson, they have been operating an average of 3,500 flights per day this November. That will increase by more than 4,000 per day during the week of Thanksgiving.

United Airlines is also expected to boost its capacity. They predict this holiday week will be its busiest since March, adding upwards of 1,400 domestic flights.
