AJ Ferrari, a former Husker Wrestler, arrested on warrant for felony charges

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A former Husker wrestler was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Lancaster County. AJ Ferrari was arrested on felony charges of domestic violence assault, false imprisonment and assault by strangulation/suffocation of a pregnant woman.

Douglas County authorities were surveying a house near Bennington where Ferrari reportedly was at. At one point Ferrari was seen crawling from the garage towards a truck where a woman had just entered after leaving the house. They were then stopped and Ferrari was taken into custody.

The victim involved in these charges reported Ferrari dragging her out of bed by her feet. She was able to get away and eventually went to the hospital where neck injuries were found.

The investigation is ongoing.
