All Nebraska bridges are reopened after March flooding

All Nebraska bridges damaged during last spring’s flooding have now been reopened.

The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) said the Nebraska 13 bridge near Hadar, just four miles north of Norfolk, reopened Friday. Out of the 27 bridges damaged during the flooding, this bridge was the last to be reopened.

The March flooding led to the closure of over 3,000 miles of Nebraska highway. All of which is now reopened.

NDOT says they spent $2.8 million to replace the Hadar bridge.
