Annual Latino festival in Lincoln celebrates Latin American culture
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — On Saturday, El Centro de las Americas hosted its annual Latino Festival at Antelope Park.
The festival featured Hispanic culture through Latin music, art, food and traditions.
The festival also featured live cultural performances.
It’s a way for the community to enjoy different foods and music, while learning more about the culture.
“This is our chance to kind of celebrate the Latin community here in Lincoln, we have all people from all corners of Latin America here,” said Ben Hammar, who is the event’s volunteer coordinator.
