Another below average start 10/28/2020

Temperatures are once again well below average this morning in the 20s with wind chill values in the teens for some. Currently southeast Nebraska is cloud free, but as we progress throughout the day today clouds will start to increase out of the south. A system on the Kansas side will bring widespread rain just to the south of us, but we will stay dry and just get more cloud coverage as a result. Despite the increase in clouds by the evening hours, high temperatures today will stil reach the low 50s today. We take a brief break from the warming trend tomorrow, but after that highs increase into Halloween resulting in a perfect holiday forecast.
