Another chilly spring day 4/21/2021

We are starting off your Wednesday with another freeze across southeast Nebraska. Most of the area is sitting in the low 30s with a few spots in the upper 20s. Wind chill values are dipping down into the 10s and 20s this morning, so wear your heavy winter gear as you head out and about today. Frost has also developed outside, so you might need to do some scraping if you left your car out! Partly cloudy skies will linger into the afternoon and evening today, but high temperatures will be a few degrees warmer. Highs will top out in the low 50s today with a light breeze out of the northwest. Another freeze is expected overnight tonight as low temperatures dip down to the upper 20s tomorrow and more widespread frost develops. Temperatures continue to warm into the weekend and our next chance of rain returns Thursday afternoon and evening.
