Another mysterious car theft shares similarities to Kia Boyz crimes in Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A 61-year-old woman says her Kia Soul is missing, and unlike many car thefts, she didn’t leave the keys inside it.
The woman told the Grand Island Police Department this happened sometime between Thursday and Saturday.
According to the victim, she still has the keys and never gave anyone permission to use her car.
GIPD hasn’t identified any suspects, but police have investigated at least three vehicle thefts the last few days.
Neither of those cases match the work of the Kia Boyz, who the Lincoln Police Department warned about last year.
A GMC Acadia was stolen over the weekend, along with a Mercedes Benz.
Two teens ages 15 and 16 were arrested after admitting to stealing the Mercedes.
