Lincoln Police make arrest in shooting near 30th and Vine Streets
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Police have made an arrest in a shooting that happened near 30th and Vine Streets early Sunday morning.
Frederick Gooch, 36, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault, second-degree assault and two counts of use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
Around 3 a.m. Sunday, officers were sent to the home near 30th and Vine Streets after a caller reported hearing gunshots.
When officers arrived, they found a 26-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. A 27-year-old man with one gunshot wound was also found outside the home, police say.
The 26-year-old was taken to a hospital in critical but stable condition, according to police. The 27-year-old has since been treated and released.

Police say one westbound lane on Vine Street will stay closed on Monday as officers continue their investigation.
