Authorities are asking for the public’s help finding a missing woman who was last seen in the York area.

The York County Sheriff’s Department says a vehicle belonging to 30-year-old Jadey Jenkins, of Omaha, was found abandoned along Interstate 80 Wednesday morning. Inside were Jenkins’ person items and an animal.

The next morning, authorities received a call from a local farmer who reported seeing someone in his cornfield. The person ran off when they saw the farmer and no one was found during a search of the area, authorities said.

On Friday, a helicopter was brought in to search the area, and on Saturday multiple agencies conducted a foot search in the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call the York County Sheriff’s Department at 402-362-4927.
