Authorities have identified a motorcyclist killed Saturday morning in crash near Palmyra.

The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office said Kevin Davidson, 41, of Syracuse, was headed west on Hwy. 2 when his motorcycle struck the side of a pickup truck. Davidson died at the scene.

The driver of the truck, identified as Edwin Belina Jr., 52, of Norfolk, was attempting to turn north into the Palmyra Sale Barn’s drive when the crash happened. He was taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities later arrested Belina Jr. for motor vehicle homicide.

The crash remains under investigation.
