Authorities searching for Nebraska woman who’s been missing for over a week

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Nebraska City woman has been missing for more than a week, according to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office in Iowa.

The agency says Peggy Simpson, 64, was last seen on May 1 in Hamburg, Iowa.

She’s described as 5-foot-4 and around 115 pounds. She has blue eyes and gray hair.

Simpson was last seen wearing a blue coat and multicolored pink stocking hat.

Sheriff Kevin Aistrope believes Simpson may have been traveling from Iowa to Nebraska.
