Back on a warming trend starting Thursday

Every day this week has started with cool weather and mostly clear skies, and Thursday is no exception. We will also continue the trend of having warm and comfortable afternoon highs.

High temperatures should be a bit warmer on Thursday. We’re forecasting a high near 78° in Lincoln, compared to Wednesday’s high of 73°.

Thursday Forecast

We may see a few clouds on Thursday afternoon, but the sky will once again be dominated by sunshine. We expect similar conditions on Friday. In fact, we turn even warmer on Friday with the 80s returning to the area.

Next Two Days

It looks like we’ll get through another week with very nice weather for Friday Night Football. We expect temperatures in the lower-70s around kick-off for our Game of the Week, eventually dropping into the 60s as the game progresses.

Game of the Week Forecast

The warm and dry weather will persist through the weekend too, although we will be watching a potential weather maker by early next week. We still have some time to watch that disturbance, but as of now, it seems as if that wave is our next best chance to see any sort of rain. And even then, it doesn’t look like the greatest rain chance.
