Bed Bath & Beyond to begin ‘winding down operations’

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- According to Bed Bath & Beyond’s website, the company has made the ‘difficult decision to begin winding down operations.’
Customers are still able to process returns and exchanges in accordance with usual policies until May 24, 2023, for items purchased prior to April 23, 2023. Gift cards, gift certificates and loyalty certificates will be accepted through May 8, 2023.
The company’s website says they will no longer be accepting coupons or welcome rewards discounts beginning April 26, 2023. If you have a registry, Bed Bath & Beyond expects to partner with an alternative platform where you can transfer your data and complete your registry.
The company filed for bankruptcy on Sunday and said it will begin closing its remaining 360 Bed Bath & Beyond stores and 120 buybuy Baby locations.
