LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska Athletics) — The Big Ten announced its full listing of home and away opponents for the 2026-27 women’s basketball conference season on Monday.

The announcement, which was made live on the Big Ten Network at 11 a.m., featured a renewal of the existing 18-game conference schedule for women’s basketball.

Big Ten teams will maintain the same double plays as in the 2025-26 season, while playing the return games from their home-and-away schedules a year ago.

Last season, a record 12 Big Ten teams won games in the NCAA Tournament, and seven of those squads will be coming to Lincoln to face the Huskers in 2026-27.

Nebraska is coming off its third NCAA Tournament appearance in the past four seasons, and the Big Red won an NCAA Tournament game for the second consecutive year by running past Richmond, 75-56, in Durham, N.C., on March 18.

First-team All-Big Ten point guard Britt Prince, along with fellow returning starters Amiah Hargrove and Logan Nissley, lead a talented Big Red bunch under Head Coach Amy Williams.

The Huskers also anticipate the return of 2024 Big Ten Freshman of the Year Natalie Potts after a redshirt season in 2025-26, while awaiting the debut of five-star freshman and 2026 South Dakota High School Player of the Year Ashlyn Koupal.

Top-100 high school recruits Ava Miles and Maddi Stewart, along with returning Huskers Allison Weidner, Emily Fisher, and Kennadi Williams, will join transfers Edessa Noyan and Arek Angui in representing the Huskers in 2026-27.

Nebraska’s nine-game Big Ten home schedule at Pinnacle Bank Arena will feature an incredible slate of 2026 NCAA Tournament teams, beginning with a continuing double-play against Iowa.

The Huskers will play home-and-away games against the Hawkeyes, who advanced to the second round of the 2026 NCAA Tournament.

Iowa will be one of Nebraska’s seven Big Ten home opponents that earned NCAA Tournament bids a year ago, including NCAA Elite Eight participant Michigan and Sweet Sixteen qualifier Minnesota.

Other 2026 NCAA first-round winners Michigan State, Ohio State, Oregon and Washington will also battle the 2026 NCAA Tournament-qualifying Huskers at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Wisconsin will put eight postseason qualifiers from the Big Ten on the hardwood at PBA in 2026-27.

The Badgers won three games in the WBIT en route to a semifinal appearance.

Penn State, which will be under the direction of first-year head coach Tanisha Wright, rounds out Nebraska’s Big Ten home opponents in 2026-27.

Nebraska’s Big Ten road schedule will feature a trip to Los Angeles to face defending national champion UCLA and 2026 NCAA first-round winner USC, which will feature the return of JuJu Watkins.

The Huskers will face 2026 NCAA first-round winners Iowa, Illinois and Maryland on the road as well, along with Indiana, Northwestern, Purdue and Rutgers.
