Bitter Cold Tuesday 1/26/2021

We are off to a bitter cold start this Tuesday morning as temperatures are sitting in the teens. Several inches of snow and windy conditions have resulted in wind chill values below zero and in the single digits. So if you have to head outside for work, bundle up as you clean off your car. Highs will eventually warm up to the low 20s today, but wind chill values will remain in the single digits and teens through the evening. Make sure the kids take breaks while playing in the snow to prevent frostbite! Snow showers return overnight tonight into tomorrow morning and we could pick up another inch of snow in parts of southeast Nebraska. We dry out for the rest of the week before we could see a winter mix on Saturday.
