Lincoln Police say two people were injured in a shooting at the Royal Grove

Lincoln Police said two people were injured in a shooting outside of the Royal Grove night club around 2:00 A.M. Saturday morning. 

Police responded to reports of shots being fired in the Royal Grove parking lot near West 4th and Cornhusker Highway. When they arrived, police said there was evidence of a shooting but no victims.

While they were investigating the shooting, police said a woman showed up at a Lincoln hospital with a gunshot wound related to the Royal Grove incident. She was treated and released with minor injuries. They also say a man arrived at an Omaha hospital with a minor gunshot wound from the same incident. Captain Ben Kopsa said the Omaha Police Department is also assisting with the investigation. 

The names of the victims have not been released and no arrests have been made at this time. Lincoln Police say there is no ongoing threat to the community.
