LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A former Husker defensive tackle is now heading to Cleveland.

Ben Stille, who played at Nebraska from 2016 to 2021, was signed off the Miami Dolphins practice squad by the Browns on Tuesday.

He only played one game this season with the Dolphins, picking up two assisted tackles against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Stille won’t be staring, as he will sit behind defensive tackles Jordon Elliott and Tommy Togiai in the depth chart, according to ESPN.

He will be joining an experienced defense that includes the likes of Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney.

The Ashland native won’t be the only former Husker with the Browns, as Bill Callahan coaches the offensive line.

Stille played in 53 games in five seasons with the Huskers, picking up 149 tackles.

He earned several accolades during his time at Nebraska, including the Sam Foltz Hero 27 Leadership Award.
