Bryan Health COVID-19 update
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Bryan Health has released their COVID-19 update for Monday, January 3rd.
Bryan Medical Center has 30% of their 50 intensive care beds are occupied with patients currently being treated for COVID-19 or who have a resolved COVID-19 infection but remain inpatients.
Since December 28th, there have been 11 COVID-19 deaths at Bryan Health. Throughout the COVID pandemic, Bryan Health has lost 421 patients to COVID-19.
Daily statistics may differ from the hospitalization data reported by the Lincoln Lancaster County Health Department because Bryan Medical Center treats patients from all Nebraska counties and surrounding states.
Bryan Medical Center currently has 66 total COVID-19 patients hospitalized.
Of the patients hospitalized, there are 45 COVID-19 positive inpatients, 33 are Lancaster County residents, 12 patients are from outside of Lancaster County.
There are 21 patients who are currently hospitalized, but no longer infectious.
Twelve total inpatients currently remain on ventilators, three of which are positive for COVID-19.
There are currently no COVID-19 positive pediatric patients.
