Bryan Health officials say they have added to their supply of ventilators.

John Woodrich, CEO of Bryan Medical Center, said Bryan now has the capacity for 161 ventilators – up from 138 at the start of the week. The organization also has four neo-natal ventilators.

Woodrich says about 25 of the new ventilators were converted from other devices.

Bryan officials also reported a drop in the number of patients on ventilators to two. Four people were using them as of Wednesday morning.

In total, Bryan has performed 1,148 COVID-19 tests and received 48 positive results, 950 negative results, and has 150 results still pending. However, only 44 people have tested positive (four people were tested twice and tested positive both times).

Bryan has five in-house  patients from Lancaster County who have tested positive for COVID-19.
