Bryan Medical Center recognized for efforts in bariatric surgery

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Bryan Medical Center has been honored for bariatric surgery, a group of medical procedures that helps individuals lose severe weight.

Bryan Medical Center was named a Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska Blue Distinction Center+. The recognition goes to hospitals with outstanding measures in quality, patient safety and health outcomes, along with overall value and affordability for patients.

Bryan Bariatric officers both surgical and non-surgical pathways, including gastric sleeve, coaching, gastric bypass and nutrition counseling.
