Calm and comfortable through the rest of the weekend

Saturday morning, we were close to breaking records. Low temperatures fell into the 3os in many spots, but Lincoln was one of the coldest in southeast Nebraska with a temperature reading of 35°. In fact, we were two degrees from tying a record from 1993 of 33° this morning in Lincoln.

Despite the cold start to Saturday, the rest of the day was arguably a top 10 day. Plenty of sunshine, calm winds, comfortable in terms of any humidity, and daytime temperatures nearing the low 70s. Graduates were given a great day, weather-wise – and anyone else trying to enjoy a day full of outdoor activities.

Skycast Tonight

Pleasant conditions are expected to continue through the rest of the weekend. We’ll be warmer, above average even, tomorrow with temperatures heading toward the lower 80s. Another calm and comfortable one in store for us!

Skycast Tomorrow

Our next chances for rain and storms come late next week. Better chances come by Thursday and Friday. Until then, the calm and quiet weather pattern persists.
