Calm & mild today, before gusty conditions arrive tomorrow 12/14/2021

We are off to a very chilly start this morning as temperatures have dipped into the 20s across southeast NE with partly cloudy skies. Make sure to bundle up before you head outside this morning! Highs will warm well above average today and we could break some high temperature records around the area. We will warm into the upper 50s and low 60s today with filtered sunshine. Temperatures remain mild overnight in the 40s and we quickly warm up into the low 70s for highs tomorrow. This will easily shatter previous high temperature records. Wind speeds will be the biggest topic Wednesday, as wind gusts could near 65 mph. A High Wind Warning and Fire Weather Watch have been issued for tomorrow as a result. The rest of the week looks much cooler in the 40s.
