Nebraska sophomore guard Cam Mack has declared for the NBA Draft while maintaining his collegiate eligibility.

Mack made the announcement via social media late Thursday night.

He had initially announced the decision early Thursday afternoon, but deleted all posts shortly after making them.

Mack is the only player in Nebraska men’s basketball history to record a triple double, scoring 11 points while grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out 12 assists against Purdue on December 15, 2019.

The Texas native averaged 12 points, 4.5 rebounds an 6.3 assists per game this past season for Nebraska.

Of course, Mack is currently suspended from the team following multiple violations of team rules. On March 4, he was cited for his involvement in a hit and run by Lincoln Police.

Mack can still return to Nebraska if he decides to withdraw his name from the NBA Draft by May 30.
