Car crashes into Lancaster County creek after man suffers medical episode

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Emergency responders from across Lancaster County helped rescue a man who crashed into a creek on Tuesday night.

This happened near North 27th Street and Arbor Road, just before 8:30 p.m.

Lancaster County deputies, along with crews from Lincoln and Raymond’s fire departments, were called.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said the driver was alone in his vehicle when he suffered a medical episode and crashed into Little Salt Creek.

Responders were able to pull him to safety and take him to a hospital with minor injuries.

He’s since been treated and released.  No one else was hurt.
