Car crashes into utility pole, partially closes road in Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Several crews were called to a crash that partially closed a road near the Country Club of Lincoln on Thursday morning.
This happened just before 6 a.m. at 27th and Calvert Streets.
A car slammed into a utility pole next to the intersection, causing it to lean.
Lincoln Electric System was contacted before crews tried to remove the vehicle.
The driver and sole occupant of the car was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, Lincoln Police said.
Heavy rain was coming down across the city, but authorities have not said if that played a role.
Police also said it was unknown if alcohol was a factor.
