Car loaded with guns, drugs & bongs stopped in Grand Island, according to police
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Grand Island Police Department is reporting a big bust that happened early Tuesday morning.
Authorities say they pulled over a man with a suspended license at West 7th and North Cedar Streets, around 12:33 a.m.
Officers tell us they could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle, leading to a search.
Police say they found more than 55 grams of marijuana inside, along with 355 THC vape pens.
They also discovered multiple bongs, trays and digital scales, according to officers.
In addition to the drugs and equipment, we’re told police located two concealed guns along with bundles of cash totaling more than $583.
The driver was arrested and is being held on a long list of charges.
Officers also say he was grossly impaired at the time.
