CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Video shows suspects in thousand-dollar fraud case, police investigate

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Police are asking for your help in identifying two suspects possibly involved in a thousand-dollar fraud case.

The incident took place on Sept. 15 at Whole Foods, near 60th and “O” Streets. A woman reported that her wallet had been stolen while grocery shopping and received an alert that her credit card was used at Walmart, 3400 N 85th St.

A $1,200 charge on her credit card was declined, but a $2,000 charge was approved.

Walmart provided video of the people they suspect are responsible for the theft. Anyone with information to help identify the man and woman pictured above is encouraged to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Lincoln Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
