Clouds clear for a mild afternoon Friday
As clouds clear out from the morning hours, we will warm up to just above average for the last Friday of October. Some cities off to the west are likely to stay a touch cooler as clouds stick around longer throughout the afternoon. Temperatures today are going to make it into the lower 60s for most of us.
High school football playoffs start this week, and calm winds with temperatures in the 50s will be great football weather. Temperatures both for Friday and Saturday look good for all high school and college sports.
In terms of wind this “weekend compared to last, we are not going to see anywhere near the 50-60 mph gusts of last Sunday. Winds are going to be calm throughout, allowing anyone who needs to continue raking the leaves to get outside and take advantage of the conditions!
We’ll continue to warm Saturday and into the start of next week, staying above average for some time to come. The end of October and the coming of November will not see much rain.
