Concerned Nebraskans for Cystic Fibrosis holds annual fundraiser at Pla Mor Ballroom

The 17th annual Concerned Nebraskans for Cystic Fibrosis (CNCF) was held tonight at the Pla Mor Ballroom just west of Lincoln.

The annual event helps to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis and proceeds will go directly to CF research and scholarships for patients and their families.

“We use that money every single year for scholarships and also for doctors appointments, lung transplant, everything related to CF. This event gives us a good start for the year,” said CNCF President Jeff Markey.

Channel 8’s very own Rod Fowler was Emceeing the event.

CNCF President Jeff Markey says he hopes to raise $12,000.
