Cool for now, warmer next week
The string of 40s for high temperatures is going to continue through the weekend and into next week, but warmer air isn’t too far away. Precipitation chances are out there, too. Some rain is possible Saturday, then again by the middle of next week.
Another cool day on Friday with highs near 40 degrees in Lincoln. Precipitation isn’t expected this time, though. That comes on Saturday.
Just about all of us will see those highs in the lower 40s on Friday.
The next chance for rain comes our way on Saturday, then drying out for Sunday.
That rain (and possibly snow) chance will be in our area by late Saturday morning and should be moving out by the early afternoon.
