Cooler and dry today 11/9/2021

Clouds are currently moving through southeast Nebraska and temperatures are in the 30s and 40s. Some sprinkles are possible for some around the area this morning, but they are highly unlikely due to dry air at the surface. Your commute should be dry and chilly, so make sure to leave the house with some layers on. Clouds will decrease as we head into the afternoon, leaving us with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s today. The clouds don’t stay away for long, because they return overnight and temperatures only drop into the low 40s as a result. Temperatures continue to drop a little every single day this week with highs expected to only reach the low 40s come Friday. Our next best chance for rain continues to be tomorrow throughout the day and wind speeds will increase near the end of the week.
