Cooling off a little, a few storm chances
After a storm chance tonight, we get more rain chances late Thursday into Friday, another chance early Saturday, then more chances next week. Temperatures will cool off a little, but still above average.
Storms will try to form along a cold front around 6pm tonight and linger into the evening hours.
Those that are in and around the green shaded “Marginal Risk” area above have the better chance at seeing severe weather. Hail is the main concern.
Most of the state will see highs in the 60s on Thursday. Parts of SE Nebraska will be close to 70 by the afternoon.
Temperatures on Friday will be very similar to temperatures on Thursday.
The next rain chance really picks up on Friday. Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for rain chances as of 6:00pm Friday.
