County COVID-19 Risk Dial remains in the ‘Orange’

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) reported 41 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county Monday. This brings the community total to 5,196.  The number of deaths in the community remains at 21.

However, the number of recoveries are up to 2,042.

The COVID-19 Risk Dial remains in the ‘orange’, or ‘high risk’ section.

As for the overall positivity rate, Lancaster County is up from 7.6 percent to 7.7 percent. The state has also bumped up from 9.5 percent to 9.6 percent. But, the national percentage dropped from 8.6 percent to 8.5 percent.
