Crews fix semitrailer after mobile home falls off in northeast Nebraska
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A mobile home came loose from a semitrailer near Pilger on Monday afternoon.
The Stanton County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash just before 3 p.m.
They found a semitrailer carrying a mobile home partially blocking the westbound lane of Highway 275.
The trailer’s axles had disintegrated, showering the road with debris. The disintegration caused the mobile home to slip off.
Deputies closed the lane for six hours as crews worked to repair the trailer.
Sheriff Mike Unger says the trailer did cause some damage to the highway, but the highway did more damage to the trailer.
Damage to the trailer is estimated in the thousands of dollars.
No injuries were reported.
