Crime Stoppers: Two high-dollar thefts from north Lincoln Home Depot

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Police are asking for help with two possibly connected thefts from the Home Depot near 27th Street and Cornhusker Highway.

On Oct. 12, a blond woman entered the store, loaded her cart with $1,500 worth of merchandise and quickly left.

She loaded the items into a dark sedan.

A few days later, three adults entered the same Home Depot.

They also rounded up $1,500 of merchandise, quickly went to their car, loaded up and left the premises.

One woman had an 8- to 10-year-old child with her.

Officials say they’re not sure if the two thefts are connected, but the similar style and value of merchandise suggest they could be.

If you have any information on either case, call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or the Crime Stoppers tip line at 402-475-3600.
