Deputies seize fentanyl, meth in stolen car near York, sheriff’s office says
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Deputies arrested three people Monday after finding guns, fentanyl and meth in a stolen car near York.
A deputy pulled over a Chevrolet Traverse for a traffic violation on Interstate 80 just southwest of York.
During the traffic stop, the deputy “developed probable cause” to search the vehicle, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.
Inside, the deputy found two guns, 4.1 ounces of fentanyl, 13.7 grams of meth and 5.5 ounces of marijuana.
One of the guns and the car had been reported stolen, according to the sheriff’s office.
Terrell Hubbard, 38; Andre Artis, 27; and Maria Montano, 32; were then taken into custody.
Hubbard and Artis are from Colorado, the sheriff’s office said, and Montano is a transient.
All three are facing several charges, including theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony and possession of a controlled substance.
