Deputy seizes three bricks of cocaine and makes arrest in Omaha

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Douglas County deputy arrested a 25-year-old man Monday after finding several bricks of cocaine.

The sheriff’s office said Sgt. Eric Olson made a traffic stop on Interstate 80 near 96th Street in Omaha.

During the stop, the sergeant found three large packages of cocaine. The sheriff’s office did not provide a weight for the seized items.

Maier Gutierrez-Posada, who is thought to be from Colombia, was arrested.

He is accused of possession of cocaine with intent to deliver and not having a drug tax stamp.

His bond was set at $1 million. He must pay 10% of that, or $100,000, to be released.
