UPDATE: Shooting victim suffering life-threatening injuries
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — One man is suffering from life-threatening injuries after being shot in the head region Saturday morning.
It all began around 4 am near I-80 and Adams Street at a party of about 100 people.
Dozens of party-goers began to fight, although it is unclear what prompted the confrontation, before hearing gunshots.
A 31-year-old male sustained facial injuries from a gunshot wound, says police.
Officers report finding multiple shell casings in the area.

One person is in critical condition after being shot in the head early Saturday morning, according to authorities.
Lincoln Police said officers were dispatched to a home near 61st and Adams after a fight broke out between 100 or so people. When officers arrived they found a victim with a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim, who has not been identified, was rushed to a local hospital where they remain in critical condition.
No arrests have been made at this time, according to LPD.
No other information was released, authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
